The Asangani Lab is affiliated with the Experimental Therapeutics at the MD Anderson Cancer center, Houston. Our lab investigates how epigenetic regulators, such as chromatin modifying enzymes and chromatin-associated proteins, cooperate with transcription factors to orchestrate transcriptional addiction in cancer cells. We aim to translate this knowledge into clinical tools by developing novel diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic strategies.
